Been There, Done That is an inspirational assembly program designed specifically to motivate at-risk students with poetry, music, and writing exercises. In this program, Lawrence describes how education, attitude conditioning, and goal setting helped him to change his life drastically from being a high school dropout working a series of dead-end jobs to becoming a popular performer, author, and educator. Students learn how they, too, can rise above their current circumstances and begin to create the life they want and deserve.
